Guess what The Economist chose as Word of the Year 2022 in its latest article  ?
Hybrid work đź’ˇ
That's more of a phrase than a word but, as The Economist's explains, hybrid work "will reshape cities, careers, family life and free time" hence deserves this award.
Hybrid means many things: working from home, working from elsewhere than than the office, working part-time, working on different projects at the same time.... Only the future will better qualify the endless options that "hybrid" covers. One things is for sure: the future of work is bound to look very different than the past. Luckily so! Levels of disengagement are at an all time low, and change is dramatically urgent.
